Vaccine success boosts the confidence of international students to study in the UK

COVID-19 has changed the way people do things in the world. This also holds for international students. Besides the academic excellence and career opportunities, the UK is also recently being targeted by international students for the way it has handled COVID-19.

International students nowadays look forward to studying in the UK. One of the main reasons behind this is the success of the vaccine rollout.

According to a survey conducted by QS with over 100,000 international students, 47% of the prospective students intending to study abroad chose the UK due to the rate of vaccinations in the country. 17% of international students also reported that the UK government handled rollout better than other countries.

According to a QS spokesperson, “The effectiveness and speed of the rollout are making the UK seem a more attractive and viable destination to begin their studies in September compared to some other countries.”

Because of the COVID-19 vaccination and situation control in the UK, the parents of students are also gaining confidence in UK studies.
